No they are still in big financial trouble and today simply saw shares being bought and sold with no monies going to Rangers.
But perhaps the beginning of moves to get the club into the hands of people who will try to take care of it and allow it to grow.
Aye Bluek probably the best off the field news for Rangers in over three years.
Mike Ashley is not out of the picture yet and be interesting to see the crafty ****ney's next move.
Rangers fans have at last got 'Rangers Men' that they can trust with a bit of clout at shareholder level.
Mind you some of the dafties trusted Green & Whyte.![]()
I hope so pogue. The thought of 2015 being more of what's gone on over the last couple of years isn't worth contemplating.
Won't be throwing any of my hard earned at the club yet.
We will see.
Feck me Bluek I will be lost no pishing maself at The Rangers and all the carry oan over the last three years![]()
All good things come tae an end I suppose.
Still a massive job tae get that club 'balancing the books' and Ashley wont go quietly.
There's a few laughs left yet for you.
Upcoming semi being one, though to be honest a pumping in that game is the least of problems next year![]()
Aye I hope so.Originally Posted by bluek

I think you missed the point of the title. If £2.7m has already bought 16% of the club to make the trio the largest shareholder; do they need to invest £6.5m that would go to Rangers and help their financial plight. Buying shares from Laxley, as you say, does not mean Rangers have any more money available to them. It could mean that the trio's proposal to buy all the soon to be issued new shares is shelved. Is there enough interest out there for investors to buy the shares on offer and bring in capital to the club?Originally Posted by Poguemahone

Aye ok Ed,
I would imagine that as the trio have already lodged a £6.5million offer to underwrite a share issue with the club's board then that will still be the case despite todays dealing...obviously they want 2 seats on the boar
