Let's hope it doesn't happen. Ibe will be a key player if he stays. Hopefully Rodgers will come out and say one way or the other soon and not allow this to unsettle Jordon who is clearly improving at Derby. In my view, he's not really ready for the biggest stage yet.

Absolutely, funny how an expereinced prem manager has the view he's done well when some posters were ( and others still do) doubting his ability and contribution to the team.

I think some doubt his brain potential. Nobody doubts his skill or pace. He telegraphs passes, holds the ball too long through lack of speed of thought and just generally can't think as fast as his legs move.

If he had the football brain of Hughes, then i'd agree.

Absolutely, his brain is fixated on either charging to the byline or cutting back for a shot... which is fine, except on countless occasions Forsyth, Martin or Bryson or Hughes have peeled back into acres of space for him to square to. If he developes awareness he'll be a damn fine premier league winger.

His skills and pace however, at this level, make him dangerous, and his workrate lately to come back and defend more is earning him his place in the starting 11.

Dawkins and Ward will need to step up their games to get back in the side, so all in all he's someone who benefits us massively this season.

Unless Rogers is an idiot, he'll let him stay til the end of the season to develop the awareness part of his game, and we've got the best coaches to help that.
