I worked away from a year and missed...

    Aitkens Rolls
    Haddock Suppers
    Steak Pies
    Scots Plain Bread
    Irn Bru
    Moray Cup

However, despite local alternatives being available, biggest misses were my tried and trusted local Indian and Kebab Shop.

Please note I'm nae that unhealthy - all of the above tend to be weekend or hangover cure treats.

Used to get great pies in a wee deli in East Croydon. But that was 1992 so it might be closed. I always found you could get pretty much anything in London, I'm sure you can get a decent pie somewhere.
