As much as I admire players who are brilliant at what they do in a single role for me the best players are those that can do many different things and fill whatever is needed for the team. Jack is just that imo. Hope he signs.

Would be a great shame if he left, but I could understand if he's not happy with being expected to remain a squad player or indeed is feeling a bit miffed at pushing for a new contract last summer but having to wait until now until something materialised..

Either way, he's a valuable player to us and I hope that the powers-that-be at SMS do everything they can to persuade him to stay.
