    From the 'Record'..
    Clough had an initial offer of around £120,000 to try to lure the the 24-year-old to Bramall lane knocked back.

    Is this some sort of joke???

    Good player but a bit inconsistent
    Think he still only 24
    Only worth what a club will pay for a player
    A player who gets you off your seat
    Always seems to destroy dundee
    They will be glad to see the back of him

    80K or even 120K is taking the ocmplete p1ss. Even if he's in the last 6months of contract and free to make his own deal at the end of the season.

    One suspects that it's some multiple of the salary that the guy is on - possibly the equivalent of the salary he'd earn between now and the end of the season.

    Either way the lad is worth multiples of 80K imho.
