What exactly happened today?
It seems like I was watching Derby play, then after popping for a **** at HT I was watching an 80s football re-run.
SMc wants ****ing shooting. I can not believe why, after 60 odd weeks in charge, we decided to play a long ball game all of a sudden. I don't think Forest 'wanted it more', out played us, out classed us, or even broke into a ****ing sweat to win that. Why the **** did we stop passing? Why the **** did Grant smack so many gk's long? Why after 10 mins of things obviously not working did the coaching staff not issue a calm down, keep the ball instruction. We've just given a **** average team their mojo back and looked like lower league ****s on national TV. Livid and disappointed are not the ****ing words. Bemused, and embarrassed are more apt.

give the guy a break. he hardly said to everyone at half time 'belt it up field and long and often as you can'.
the players have to take responsibility for the 2nd half. we lack leaders. I don't think Keogh is. nobody took charge. nobody kept their composure.
the captain (and other players) should have got everyone together and said 'for **** sake, we've been knocking the ball about for 45 minutes and made them look stupid. just because will has gone off doesn't mean we can't keep playing football. so stop kicking the ****ing thing long and keep hold of it'.
that's all.
True. Captain could have given the order to keep calm and play properly, but SMc is where the buck stops, he should have been bellowing at them to sort it out or brought on players with the instructions to. Bent sub wasn't awful, but was never going to change much by then. We were lost.
I'm not saying we should sack him or anything so daft, but he needs to put his hands up and take some blame for that. He said he told the team to keep doing what we were doing in the first half. By 47th min we looked like that wasn't going to happen. Against any team I'd be hacked off. Against Forest it is inexcusable.
I'm not having sour grapes when I say I think they were poor. They deserved the win, but unless they'd stayed in the dressing room at HT, the win was pretty much gonna happen!! It's to their disgrace it took them until 90th min to win it!
Im sure I'll cheer up tomorrow, but tonight I'm feeling as low as I have at any point in the last decade. Just in shock![]()

calm down, these things happen in football, who would thought germany putting 7 past brazil, lets move on, we have time on our side. just being in the top 3 means we have come along way under this management how do u think forest fans must feel after being top at the start of the season. lets back the team and move on.
You are of course, right.Originally Posted by DE23

I'm very used to losing big games, I'm a Derby fan! Just so unexpected how it happened today. I'td be ok if we did our square pass, bit toothless stuff, or got mugged, the capitulation is a tough one to take tho.
I'm hungover and fed up. Drawing a line under it and off to bed
