Is Ibrox safe to stage football matches?

Given events on Friday I'm not so sure: Fans rioting and getting out of control invading the offices of the ground and attacking rival fans, whilst the ground staff are seemingly incapable of getting the pitch into a state fit for playing football on.

Can Sevco guarantee the safety of all staff, players, and fans at Ibrox in the future? I'm not sure that they can. :/

I was surprised to see that the pitch was deemed unplayable when a few brooms and willing hands would have cleared more than just the lines ahead of kick off. We have seen fans rally round when pitches and surrounding areas have been covered in several inches of snow. Their reward was the clubs thanks and perhaps a pie. The fans were not looking for anything and willingly gave their time to get the game on and help their club.

Sadly Ed those fans that bothered to turn up were too busy thinking of the best way to break into the boardroom.

Probably not the best idea to let the animals onto the pitch when they can't even be trusted when they are outside the ground

I certainly fear for the safety of vulnerable members of our support... The children, the women, the disabled, the old - all are in danger of unprovoked physical assault from this utterly repugnant group of 'people'.

Surely the majority can be trusted. Honestly, most fans want to see their team play despite what they may think of happening off the field. I was not paying much attention to the weather pre-the game - was the snow late in arriving ahead of the game and so not giving much time to arrange clearance?

The snow was off at 7pm, according to media comments. Plenty snow piled up around the Hamilton pitch, so they managed it.
