    A word for Forysth

    Since D-D and Ella havent done ratings for Saturday, can I just comment on Brucie's performance

    It was interesting that Florest stuck Antonio out right to expose Brucie (I guess) as a possible weakness. But I thought Brucie did a cracking job and nullified their danger man. Not once did he get done for pace, and dont remember Antonio posing any threat.

    I think Warnocks arrival will put him under pressure, and if Saturday is anything to go by, I think Warnock has a job on to get into the LB position

    Credit to Forsyth, he cops alot of flack, so well done for Saturday, came out with credit

    To be honest after a defeat it is very rare d-d does ratings.

    Yes, he had a very good game. Won lots of stuff in the air and didn't get beaten 1 on 1. Looked very determined.

    Massacres did better than Hendrick and Bryson, who both offered no defensive shape out of possession. H & B also squandered possession time after time trying to force the issue instead of building slowly.

    Footballers have off days and I think it was the adrenaline surging that caused some very sloppy team play. The occasion got the better of them.

    Same for Johnny Russell when he sliced that half chance into the crowd. Chris Martin was standing 6 yards out unmarked – he was furious!

    Very harsh to pick out individuals though, because I think 100% effort was there for all to see. The TEAM were responsible for the defeat not one individual. Too often fans will pick out individuals but collectively they failed to rally together and do what was required as a 10 man defensive unit.

    In the words of my seven year old son, "can we stop talking about it now?".

    Wise words indee

    It amuses me how these Forest guys know everything about what goes on on our forum.

    I've never been on a Forest forum in my life. Why would you?!

    I don't normally comment or like abusing the players but I just don't agree with the posts about Forsyth. He defended ok nothing to shout about but his distribution and decision making was really poor and has been for a few games. I would like to applaud him for how he drastically improved our team when McLaren came in and he did have a really good season but for me now he has just become a frustrating player. I think Steve Mac has seen the same thing and has now brought in an experienced quality left back who still has a couple of years left in him. I reckon he his bringing him in to start him because otherwise he would of settled with Naylor as cover. I'm looking forward to Warnock playing. Again I have to congratulate McLaren and his team for seeing weaknesses and addressing them. Up the Rams. Red Dogs you got lucky and you know it. You can enjoy that victory for a few years now though because we won't be playing for a while. [!]128554;

    So this would beg the question that his views are not unbiased and/or people won't say anything on the party line here for fear of being pursued.

    I would be interested this time to see his ratings as you need both ends of the spectrum to understand how good a measure actuay is!

    For once in my life I agree with Rattae. Where are you D-D? Is there a good reason for your absence? I always enjoy reading your ratings and, on the whole, agreeing with them.
