no doubt there will be split views.
Personally I like the fact that some of our players return to the club. Many will disagree but my gut feel is we'd be better with Pearson, McFadden and Clarkson all in our squad.
Here's hoping it works well.

I agree with you Meister. At least these guys have a 'feel' for the club. What his game is like right now, I have no idea but we are very limited in what we can afford, so if we can get a decent half season from him then that would be good.
Manager says it's a coup signing Pearson it would only be a coup if there were other teams wanting him and as far as I know there was none .Also heard the manager on BBC radio saying he wouldn't expect to get anybody else in till nearer the end of the window ,by that time it could be to late we could be bottom by then .Lets hope Pearson can bring something to the middle of the park cause we badly need it .Is he a good signing only time will tell just seems like desperation on our managers part who shows no sign of bringing in any of these players he has loads of info on and why he got the job
If the club's finances are as bad as rumours suggest, saving a fortnight's wages on new signings makes sense.
IMO dosnt matter who we sign would still lose next 2 games so if we can wait till end of next week to save money and get players in then so be it but would like them in for St j game if possible
If we are not getting folk in to save two weeks wages we'd be as well closing the doors now. I can only assume such comments are utter bollox. Two weeks wages aint gonna bring the club crumbling down. How do these stories start.
As for Pearson?? god fpuckin help us. A coup !! sure the manager didn't mean a coo... anyway he's here now. Good luck to him even if I do think its a waste of a wage, again.
Time will tell, as ever, but I'm 'hopeful plus'. He was a decent player, and if, as seems likely - and probably sensibly - we're going to be asking some of our younger guys to play more often, he has the experience to bring them on. I recollect that they dried up a bit during the period just before he left us, but, if he still has the puff, his breenging runs down the middle of the park would be something we are seriously lacking just now.
As a paid up member of the glass half full society, I'm looking forward to seeing him.
C'mon the 'Well.
I'll remain positive until he settles in. If he still has the engine and the pace he could be exactly what our midfield needs. I would also be looking to see if Jenno was available - because we need his type of defensive midfielder that can link play - not to play alongside Lasley - but in place of him. They are two signings that could pull the team up by the bootstrings!!!!
As pointed out in last week's discussion on the availability of Steve Jennings, Tranmere Rovers granted him a contract last week to the end of the season, a couple of days after he had played in their 6-2 FA cup defeat by Swansea and helped to lay on 1 of the 6!Originally Posted by maestro91
