Just over a day after going on general sale. They could have sold 40,000 for this one.
At 12 quid a ticket they probably would.
"Saturday’s FA Cup Fourth Round tie against Crystal Palace is now sold out after a record-breaking 24 hours in Southampton’s Ticket Office.
Supporters have snapped up around 15,000 tickets since the match went on general sale yesterday morning, making this weekend’s tie the eighth successive home game to sell out." - view external link
I bought my ticket at the ground at 11.30 this morning. Either I was very lucky, or the PR machine is running.

What do you get for your £27 in the Saints Bar?
Anybody done it?

You get access to the bar right up to kick-off, during half-time and after the match, as well as padded seats in the middle of the Itchen Stand. No food or drink included, though.
And no, never done 'semi-hospitality' myself.

When I checked last night there were just 2 areas with decent availability. I could understand PR if it said 'last few remaining' but sold out![]()
Never had a problem getting last minute tickets, even for games that have been declared 'sold out'.
Seems I'm not alone.
But what would be the point?
Unless it's a recognition that demand is so high if you deter most by declaring it sold out you can avoid getting swamped by the more determined?
