    I wouldn't have it any other way.

    completely the right decision though. he plays a physical game week in week out and players like him need to be looked after as we couldn't do without him.

    He only realised that he was coming off when he heard the PA announcement. We taking an attacking free kick and he raised his arms to the bench as if he was appealing for a foul. I got the feeling that he thought that he should remain on to contest the free kick.
