Very sad.
In my opinion the most technically gifted player ever to wear a latics shirt, tho' reading between the lines his heart wasn't in it anymore.
I'll always remember the goal against Utd and, because of that, being able to stick two fingers to all those Wiganers who 'follow' Utd - priceless.
And after Saturday's debacle we're missing his set pieces already.

Swinley - couldn't agree more. I was always delighted when he was on the pitch, and always surprised when he was either not there or on the bench. At last we were getting some corners taken that looked vaguely threatening!

You cant blame the lad... he loved playing for Wigan and everything he has achieved in a good career here..
he will make his retirement money going to the US so good luck to him.
