    Smaller teams v bigger teams

The smaller team often tries to imply these games are as big a deal for the bigger team as it as for themselves.

    Scotland do it with england
    england with Germany
    Everton with Liverpool
    etc etc
and Sevco are doing it now with Celtic

No doubt this is a big game from Sevcos point of view. Every match against a top tier side has been a chance for them to 'show us all' (and theyve more often than not failed to do that). This is the ultimate for them - against the biggest team in the land. A team they still view as their 'old rivals'. Its a huge game for Sevco, the biggest in their history, absolutely no doubt about that.

While not quite as big a deal for Celtic it is still significant because it is a chance of a cup final and a trophy after all. It would also just be embarrassing to lose to rangers and would have sevconians everywhere bragging for years about how their team beat the greatest in the land.

One gazed at the post above with amazement, wonder and not a little disappointment at the fact it was written by dear HB; proof indeed, if any were needed, that even non-attending tims who would not sully themselves by normally associating with the green and grey masses have reverted to type and are at fever pitch regarding this game.

One would also hope, dear HB, that you are not one of the jolly craicsters involved in the tim on tim threats and violence due to the stealing of tickets for this game.

Theyre not bothered about Rangers, no Sirree...

    And that.

Yes mate, did you not get the email from HB and John69? I believe LLSC instructed them to write it.

We have had 3 years of bunnery constantly trying to tell us they are important. Important clubs don't need to keep telling us they are important.

Of course I am looking forward to Sundays game. Its quite a novelty. The club we are playing may be weak but the fans are the same ones that followed the old Rangers and keep telling us they are, you've guessed it, important. Roll on Sunday.
