Yes I think it's just you! I think Keogh and Buxton are our weak link. Saying that we're not professional coaches and everyone of us has an opinion. Ours seem to differ greatly.Originally Posted by derby123

that thinks Keogh has been one of our best and most consistent performers this season so far?
Really cant understand the abuse he gets at the ipro and on the forums? think his mistake at Wembley has clouded some fans judgement - for me, people point the finger to easily to him when we lose

Are there better players than Bucko and Keogh? Yes of course they are, but do these two play to the best of their ability in a Derby shirt? Yes they do, what more do peple want?
I figure the fans that do this, would not be accepting if they were slated publicly for every mistake they made at work!!
I think Keogh's been very good this season, hence him never being out the team. His play-style is so important to us too- he carries the ball out well. There's a bloke who sits near me who hates Keogh. Even when it's Christie, Buxton, or a midfielder's we concede, he says "That's Keogh again". He also always says "Keogh not looking when he passes again", despite the fact his pass accuracy is the highest in the league...
That said, he was poor vs. Chesterfield, particularly first half.
Albentosa looks like a proper defender, and a very good one at that, so it will be interesting to see if Keogh remains a lock-in at RCB. I think, from early impressions, Keogh and Raul are our best two centre-backs, but can Raul play on the left side?
Sorry for going off on a tangent.

completely agree - first half vs chesterfield he did struggle. Might be because he was not use to the position he was playing at RCB, but still. Much improved in the secon
Keogh ok for me but am a bit miffed to why he has started to dive when getting challenged. It is not a natural fall therefore, makes him look foolish.
Buxton has been hanging on for a while in this league and will give a penalty away soon if his constant holding of the player continues.
They both ok thats it. Average players who make themselves better by always giving 100%.
For us to move on there has to be an injection of class and maybe Raul is that injection.
No grudge from me about Keogh that's gone players make mistakes.
