You are quite correct bawbag, apologies.
Think such a move would have a lot going for it.
As well as the 15,000 extra capacity in Embra, Hampden is a soulless place these days - though this weekends two games might see that change.
It would also remove the gripe that Scottish fitba is Glasgow fitba.
Embra's not overly difficult to get to for most - even from this side o the country.
There's still the traditions of Hampden over the various decades though and that's likely to pull at the heart strings of many.
It'll be interesting to see how this story develops in the coming years
Hampden is a sh*t hole
Handy for me as Murrayfield is at the bottom of my street![]()
Cannae see them moving the home of Scottish Fitba out of Glasgow though if I'm honest.
just because ye enjoyed yerself at the One Direction concert at Murrayfield, doesn't mean that fitba needs to move thereOriginally Posted by Arab_Kris

Hampden's a dump. A rotten stadium with poor views and, generally, a poor atmosphere. It should never have been rebuilt, a country like Scotland doesn't need 2 national stadiums for Rugby and Fitba. They should take the Scotland games around the country (if it's good enough for Germany...) as attendance fits, you could go to Pittodrie, Easter Road, Perth, Kilmarnock, or Parkhead / Ibrox / Murrayfield for larger games. The money should have been spent on proper all-weather training facilities right around the whole country. That would have done far more for Scottish fitba than a miserable stadium.
