    IB's hunt for a keeper?

Would appear IB is desperately trying to bring in a keeper as his first priority. After missing out on Tomas Cerny the club had looked like they were getting Argentine keeper Manuel Garcias from Rosario Central on loan until end of the season. But as our luck would have it first choice keeper at Central got injured so they now need Garcias,so the hunt goes on.

Yea seen that in the sun this morning rather surprised but hes obviously decided we need a keeper who demands the 6 yard box to stay in league as keep losing close range headers .Only surprised as thought as we had 2 keepers would be no money for a 3rd.

Medium term (end of season) he's right we do need 2 new keepers. However that should be our last line of defence. I'd have thought bolstering our midfield or outfield defence would be more productive in that it would take more pressure of the goalie.

Dan is not the best, granted. But he is far from the worst in this team. If the new guy thinks that a keeper is priority after watching the team for a month we are in deep sh't...

For me that's the last position i would be looking to change at the moment midfield and front line should be 100% priority.

Would wait til summer before changing the goalkeeper.

I'm against the tide here. I do believe we need a decent keeper.

Dan is an excellent shot stopper but in the modern game you need a keeper who organises the defence and commands his 6 yard box.

Don't get me wrong replacing solely Dan isn't the answer. We do need more from midfield and a settled defensive 4.

Hopefully we have an interesting few days ahead.

We could play 2 goalies at the same phekking time behind our defence and they'd still have goals pumped behind them.

Then it will be to late a good keeper is worth at least ten points a season our two dumplings are worth minus ten a season
