It's about moneyHe'll be on a higher wage playing for Ross County so don't think he'll be too interested in what league he's playing in.
Although if I were him, I would be playing for a club with ambition![]()
If he joins he will be the 5th player the Staggies have signed recently in an attempt to strengthen the side as relegation beckons.
My understanding is that he is signed until end of 15/16 season. For once we are in a relatively strong position.
I would be surprised if the player was interested in a move to Dingwall. He is a player that could attract interest from England Leagues 1 and 2 or a decent Premier Club like Aberdeen, DUFC?
I would think that any fee that Ross County would muster would fund little more than a large consignment of pies...if we let him go cheaply we really do have problems. Can't see it but I couldn't see us losing Baird and Kerr to our rivals so never say never!!
Rubbish move for him but i would let him go if this is true.
He's improved ten fold as a player but his performances are very hit and miss and he badly fades out of games. I don't think it would be too hard to find a equally as good player.
I disagree - for me he is consistently one of our top 2/3 players in most games.
Will only improve so long as he avoids injury. In terms of natural technical ability he is a great prospect. I have to admit that I wasn't a big fan initially but it is hard not to be impressed with his performances over past year.
Needs to add goals to his game and if he does that a big fee could be coming our way.
We currently have 9 fully fit outfield players.
2 more who can't last the 90 1 of whom might get fitter, the other won't.
4 coming back from injury, 2 of whom still have quite a bit to go.
And 2 in the squad who haven't played first team football for us for months.
So if he goes and isn't replaced, we're basically saying we can go the rest of the season with 8 fit outfield players, which should become 9, then 11, then 13 at some indeterminate point.
Good luck to Falkirk in the play-offs.
Game over, then !
Let's go the whole hog and move Holt and Reilly on too.
Do you think summer will ever come ?
If Ross County is the extent of Ian's short term ambitions then maybe he isn't the player that we think he is.
I honestly cant see him going there but if he does that represents a massive error of judgement in terms of his career planning.
There will be n shortage of interest in him - but that is not the righ move.
