    great result

three points would have been immense, but let s put things into perspective, and basically 2 unused new boys mackay got about 10 mins. posted earlier in the week about movement/positivity, but a very very long way to go

    Sorry Italia
Think its another 2 points dropped & what seems like another toothless display upfront...1 shot on target. In fact most of reports say it was a very dull game...about right for us!!!!

How can we expect to win with Cowie and Taylor in the side? Both shyte .How did these two get 3 year deals?
At least Ali got a start though..other than that we were crap up front. Apart from a Perch header we never looked like scoring

re both posts , was trying to look at today as a glass 'half full'. mm is making progress in the transfer window, previously posted in the week about 'positivity/movement', others have suggested that we give him a chance ! two [virtually] unused new boys. I think also that mm has been appointed/taken a very unenviable task [since last 20 months]. the club was jettisoned into success that, and let s be honest, we could never imagine! we can ' bang on' about 'it s not very good now', but also maybe owen coyle had a point about a 'reality check'. who wouldn t have taken a point today ? brilliant!!!!!! a football club is no different to a family household/budget. sometimes the luxuries have to go ! mick McCarthy probably sees it as THREE POINT LOST.But, we have a frugal but committed chairman who is ' wigan' through and through, and I think he will rise again. yes , we are xxxx upfront but that WILL NOT always be the case. how do you think sdw will want to be remerbered ?

Ipswich 4th from top tha knows!
Did well come away with 1 point imo
Gave Mckay a start on 78 mins for Waghorn, just a pity he didn't have the bottle to make a double sub and bring young Cosgrove on for Fortune.
Its near enough 3 months since Fortune scored a goal!,so why not give young un a chance he's 6ft 3in big enough to hold his own in this league.
