    Cultured Spanish Football?

I was following the La Liga game last night between Granada and Elche, well, I did have a financial interest in the match.

With both teams struggling near the foot of the table, it was never going to be a classic.

However, even I was surprised by the happenings during the ninety minutes which Granada won 1-0. There were nine yellow cards, four for the winners, while one yellow, became red for Elche.

England has a reputation for 'muck and bullets' football, but it is very rare that this amount of cards are produced in a game.

What sort of challenges/offences were the cards being handed out for Abbo?
The Continent has a reputation for dishing or cards for the slightest touch!
