    Let's build on the second half showing and hope for a couple of useful signings before the window closes on Monday night. - view external link

    Although only the 1 point the last 2 games have given me hope though certainly not 1st half yesterday but the spirit shown last half hour pleased me and a couple more signings with the return hopefully of hammell Lasley and Pearson should give us hope as February is a big month with games coming up where we can collect points

    Mixed feelings after yesterday;
    1. Thought the new faces were thrown in, perhaps just for the sake of it (?), and for the first 45 mins looked well out their depth. The moving of Straker to LB settled him and he showed some glimpses of promise. Laing's red was spot-on IMO.
    2. Dom Thomas lit the blue touch paper (again), when he came on - the lad MUST start from this point on.
    3. Young Craig Moore was impressive and fingers x'd he'll keep fit now that he's over the injury.
    4. 1 point collected was a minor miracle after the first half !!

    First half was the same as every other game we have played in January and the least said about them the better.The introduction of the young guns in the second half was a breath of fresh air and seemed to give the other players a lift and a belief that they could get something out of the game.Sutton playing towards the opposition goal looked a threat as his goal showed instead of having to play with his back to goal and deal with high balls all day.We may have only got a point but it could turn out to be a very important point at the end of the season.I think if we can get our strongest eleven players all on the pitch at the same time for a run of games we are capable of matching anyone in the league.
