    Mclaren to QPR?

I know this rumour was inevitable but I've just turned sky sports news on to hear the presenter say QPR are to interview 3 candidates, Tim Sherwood, some other bloke and Steve Mclaren.

Please someone tell me they heard it and I miss heard?

Mclaren couldn't consider going to the team that beat us to promotion.

Seems daft when you will probably be swapping places with them soon.

I don't think this warrants a question mark does it? I think some reporters/journalists need to do their homework.

Steve has got it good at Derby. QPR is a sinking ship, financially they are a ticking time bomb! IMO QPR will be going down, aside from their owners cash (which is reigned in with FFP) QPR aside from being a 'London' club are not of Premier League stature...like many clubs over the years e.g. Bolton, have been operating under a false economy and they will find their natural standings in the leagues.

You can never say never but I couldn't see this happening at all, IMO it would be pure madness and would make no sense at all.

SM is a Ram and will be doing everything to get us promoted. We gave a really good chance and he would strengthen his CV and reputation immensely if he manages it.

I'd be very surprised, much of this is just make believe, given the chance of either Newcastle or QPR why would he choose the latter?

I we don't get promoted, I fear we will lose McClaren but he has publicly stated his commitment to staying and doing the jon he was brought in to do, still I guess it shows the owners made a good appointment if your manager is linked with every vacant prem managers job!!!

QPR or any other club can't just decide to interview who they like without permission from the club that currently employs them.Rush told S Mac he couldn't talk to Newcastle so why the heck would he let him talk to QPR?
It's about time this was stopped, putting rumours around about people who are in the employ of a club.
It creates upset, worry and bad feeling.

When he leaves it will probably be driven by his ambition to compete with the top clubs in England and Europe. QPR would not be offering this, and I doubt if he would be attracted by anything else that Fernandez could offer.
