    Adverts

I accept the need for a revenue stream for the site, but when the pop up adds do not have an option to close and take over the website page it makes the site unusable.

Take the Aldi add that pops up every other time I try and read the site on my phone

    Please can something be done.

    It's money.

Nothing site editors can do about it other than forward complaints. But as FM already know that people hate them, it's unlikely to do any good.

I'm afraid it's a case of put up or push off. That sounds harsh but it's the reality I'm afraid. If collectively all members emailed FM direct and refused to use the site until such adverts had been removed then I guess it would have some impact. But thats not going to happen.

When are some of you going to get this; install ******* Plus and Flash Blocker, they are free and do the job.

If you don't like the new Firefox layout (australis theme) use Pale Moon.

    I never have a problem with ads/popups

I don't even get chance to log in on my phone. The Aldi add just takes over before I can click on anything and there is no option to shut it down.

I'm posting on my phone too and this Aldi advert just redirects me without me touching anything. I then can't close it and when I go back out takes me to the page before FootyMad??? Frustrating
