    Stadium standards

Watching Brentford the other night it struck me that their ground is very very basic. If they qualified for the Premier league would they meet the minimum standard?
From memory Bournemouth's is pretty poor as well.
what would happen if they failed to meet the minimums?

Are there any requirements beyond the usual all seater stuff?

There are some pretty poor grounds around besides Brentfords. I wonder what people would say about the Baseball Ground if it were still our ground.

I read an interview with their chairman where he stated that he had spoken to other clubs about ground sharing (even Wembley) whilst they redelevoped the stadium to meet Prem standards.

Their ground is a shocker, I have had the 'pleasure' of corporate hospitality there, it's twenty years behind Derby's equivalent and then the only seats available are in the middle of 6,000 Forest fans in that grubby old steel shed of a stand. Yuk. Thank God for whoever finally said 'lets build a new one on Pride Park'

More importantly they are going to get a third star in 2 years, maybe 3, 4 tops.

I'm pretty sure the Colosseum is classed as a historical ruin but I get where you're coming from
