    D_D's Player Ratings vs. Bolton

A great performance today, despite being kicked off the park by a dirty Bolton side. It's great to see us doing well against teams who come to kick us out the game, especially when we can win so emphatically. Here's the ratings:

Grant 7- He had one real save of note to make, against the lively Clough, and his distribution was generally tidy too.

Shotton 7- Solid, but he had nothing to do. The odd unnecessary hoof brings him down to a 7.

Keogh 7- Very good again from Keogh. His play out from the back was good, and his recovery tackling was typically excellent.

Buxton 7- No-nonsense when necessary, and he grabbed a lovely assist with a well placed header across the box.

Forsyth 7- Since Shotton's emergence in the team, he's started to get forward more, and to great effect. His final ball wasn't always great, but he provided us with much needed width against a narrow Bolton side.

Mascarell 9- Omar was really at it today. Three of his through balls were straight out of the top draw

There was a time when Ward was our talisman and was a dead cert on our team sheet...just shows how we have improved in terms of players and style. We are improving and unfortunately progression means we will outgrow certain players in time. Ward for me is still a great player in this league and still important to us...just not as much as he used to be.

Mascarell had a cracking game today, he is showing that he is adjusting to this league and getting stronger every game.
