Got to be us. Pearson sacked just now, certainties for relegation. Notts can't muster one decent side between two 'clubs'. Has to be the Rams!

The perils of promotion! Get a team up, then get sacked because of unrealistic expectations, no team even if they spend loads is guaranteed to stay up after promotion, surely if the manager was good enough to get you up, he deserves to stay? (unless your wee Billy obvs who was just ****e anyway!).

No doubt Mac will be favorite to take over but where did you hear that Pearson was sacked. Nothing on Sky
Leicester have denied rumours that Pearce has gone, saying he's still manager.

Was on Sky last night on their live feed and in their news studio. 'Sky sources' etc. Was then on BBC.
Must admit, I was doing a bit of hunting with the OP. However, no dogs and no foxes, so hunt must have been called off!!
On the Pearson issue, I would be disgusted if he has been sacked. One win against a struggling manure and suddenly expectations go through the roof. As several have pointed out, it takes much longer. Sometimes, some 'yo-yo-ing' is necessary for longer term stability. Always thought Pearson was a good manager.
Back to the OP. WE could soon be the top East Midlands side table wise, but will we also have to 'yo-y
That's the trouble when your side visits the Premiership once in a blue moon. Steve McClaren must be worried that if he gains promotion he'll be out of a job next season. Nigel Clough had it sussed out as regards job security. Make out you're rebuilding the side, taking as long as possible and milking it for all it's worth.
Not something Dougie will need to worry about for the foreseeable future then...Originally Posted by Akwesasne
