    wtf/commentators

I was under the impression that we ed brought new faces in to try and improve things, so can anyone please tell me wtf taylor/cowie are doing on the pitch AGAIN !!!!!!!! Barnett imo isn t playing well, we ve 2 new defenders in, oji had a positive effect v Bournemouth, mackay should also be in there; also think that the wish fm commentators deserve knighthoods for trying to bring some positivity to the shambles laid bare before us

I'm sorry to say this but, We are doomed to the first division, I cannot see us catching any one above us, we had more than 50% of the play but lose. From Fa cup winners, play off semi finalists, Europa cup to this, what is happening? Anyone think the same, (other than Ebola who I'm sure will put his bit in)

We're just on our way back from the match so haven't heard the wish fm commentary tho I have to say we were utter sh*ite tonight.
We wouldn't have scored if we'd played all night and they'd took their goalie off.
Good banter amongst the 300 or so fans tho despite the result.
I've always tried to be positive on this forum but have to say this is as bad as it's ever been for me. And that's from someone who sat thro the grim times in the early 80's when we were months from folding as a club.
I don't know where we go from here but whatever happens don't give up.
Anybody up for Reading away next week?!!

Also wanted to say Cowie and Taylor are not good enough to play for a village pub team of one-legged blind simpletons

Any team with Taylor and Cowie in it are handicapped straight away it's like playing with 9 men when they are in the first team. Both are utter shyte and Malky is obviously oblivious to it as he keeps picking them?.MALKY HAS TO GO it's that simple!!
Barnett is now becoming a liability his last 4 performances have been crap.If Taylor and Cowie start or they are anywhere near the first team including subs against Reading it's an automatic loss.Macky now holds an excellent record of being the worst manager in all 4 divisions over a 15 game period in charge 1 win,2 draws and 12 losses. Most managers would of been sacked 6 games ago.He has no more excuses. This is his team he got rid of all the quality we had and he has brought in the loans and rejects from other clubs.

Agree, Mackay has to go...there is still 1/3 of a season left and points to play for (although we obviously need to change things round quickly). I am not one for swapping and changing managers but this is clearly not working, and not likely to.
A change might not work either but its surely worth a shot based on the current situation.
I have watched Latics since 1980 and this is the worst I can remember feeling

do you not think its the Chairman that has lost interest, brought us from Div4, and now wants to take us back. Makay was always the cheap option. We loan players to other clubs and then have to bring in even worse.

Pity its got to this sad state at a one time proud club.

Chairman now has no ambition to do well here.

No one can takeaway from him what he has done n the past. But I am afraid to say its time to sell up before its to late.

I do believe someone wants to buy the club but Mr Whelan is reluctant to sell the stadium as part of the deal,

the remainder of february is going to be crucial to at least kick start something of a turnaround for MM given the games are against teams around tics.

There are 16 games and 48 points remaining, if half of that can be garnered then survival is a possibility.

Agree that taylor and cowie are poor and if MM wants the team to succeed he has to address that.

    still hopeful of staying up
    come on you latics!

No he won't let his "Cash Cow" go will he!
15 yrs rent off the tic's and the lodgers,i'll bet we don't pay a pepper corn rent like yon lot do?.
Plus all the stadium bar, catering, corprate events, weddings etc another nice little earner for him.
Thowt he'd called given the tic's the stadium...Evidently Not.
