A lot seems to have happened in a short space of time. All of it is encouraging and such an insight is much appreciated. As supporters, however, it’s the results we see as most significant. Off-pitch activities are important, but results are crucial.

    Yeah, fair enough.

Having read the blog, most of it seems to be addressing the seemingly obvious things which have been clearly needing fixed - the detail of committees etc isn't especially relevant.

What is interesting though is that Hutchison has obviously provided not just enough capital to keep us going but enough to invest - 1.5 new members of staff, plus the physical trainer, plus new software comes at a price.

I'm not against this investment but I'm highly doubtful of whether this latest sales and marketing guy or girl will do any better than all the others we've had previously...

However, what I think is *****ly important is that the Well Society clarifies details of the dea

I am not so sure about the ins and outs of our agreement with Les Hutchison. I know we have agreed a deal to pay Mr Hutchison 100k over the next 5 years if we can but as far as i know and could be totally wrong as it stands he now owns the club and would be surprised if every penny he spends has to be paid back by the well society surely he is taking a risk and reward outlook as if we can not come up with the agreed finances then he would still be owner of the club i think. I will let them get on with it as have faith in Les Hutchison as hes a very caring and generous man and cares about the community and we have a board who care about the club so whatever happens i am sure we are in good hands.

There is a lot going on behind the scenes, and some new ideas that sound interesting and will hopefully help the club move forward.
I agree that we need new people to look at increasing revenue from the facilities. investment from local companies and attempt to increase the amount of supporters returning. This has been neglected over the last few years, you just have to look at the empty Cooper boxes to know that. These used to be available for match days.
Positive stuff from the people running the club, it beats the 4 or 5 emails a year telling us how skint we are. Of course this will come at a price and will need to be paid back, this is how all businesses operate, they receive capital to help them grow, there will be a business plan in place for this.

Thank God Les turned up. looks like he's more that just a soft loan to get the WS though to completion. Well Done.
