I will have been married 30 years this summer but my wife still does not get it when it comes to Derby County.
When you are watching the Rams on TV or listening on the radio she still continues to talk non-stop about anything and wonders why you are not paying attention to her.
I do not see what's wrong with taking her away for a couple of days and by coincidence Derby just happen to be playing nearby!
When I show her the league table and we are near the top she will say "Is that good?"
Another one that really annoys me is when she asks why I want to go the match when the highlights will be on the TV later.
I have followed the Rams for going on 40 years and she insists that if the house caught fire I would save my Derby memorabilia first and her and the kids second.
There is one comment that she makes that really gets to me and has done all the time we have been together.
When we lose a game and I am in a bad mood she will say "It's only a game".

My wife is a Glaswegian and a Rangers fan, so FULLY across football-fan protocol, albeit in return for my Corro silence. Hasn't so much as bumped a car in 25 years driving either

protocol = way of behaving
Corro = Coronation Street
