    Hubcap

So how did our new GK do yesterday?

The last two appearances, either against or for the Alex, have been inauspicious, but I guess he was unlucky in having to organise a defence of lads he'd only just been introduced to at Barnsley.

Last night's Football League programme clip showed someone who could, despite his ropy-poly appearance, throw himself about a bit between the sticks. Was he, then, fairly solid? Could he be a stopper of penalty kicks?

He'll be very busy over the next few games, so how do people rate him?

    re: Hubcap

Started with a heart-stopping error in the first few seconds - and the rebound from his clearance did not go goalwards .. thankfully.

Gradually got better and made at least one stunning save.

Tate seemed to be relying on him to be as spacially aware as Ben, which was a bit worrying, but a clean sheet. Can't complain. He's a decent enough deputy for Garratt: I just hope he keeps improving.
