    Striker Situation

I don't think any of ramspride's 8 threads since Saturday's game have covered this so I thought I'd better

so with martin having been injured and Darren bent coming off on Saturday with what appeared to be a muscle injury, does anyone know where those 2 are with fitness?

surely martin can't be far away but we wouldn't want to have to rush him back in. muscle injuries are usually a few weeks at least. I didn't hear anything on the radio as I was at the game. can anyone clear this up?

we've got a huge game tomorrow night at brighton and without martin or bent we'll struggle.

sure we have JR, ince, ward that could try it but we're back to the square pegs in round holes scenario.

if it came down to it, JR wide right with ince down the middle?

JR down the middle for me, out of those 2.

Maybe Hughes up front? He can hold the ball up, finish and good enough to be OK anywhere IMO!

It was reported on Thurs/Fri that Martin would not be available until next Sat. Presume that's still the case

Russell - it was his natural position so most likely will play him, unless Shteeve throws a real curve ball and brings in Thomas or even more radical, recalls Sammon!

I'd go JR up top. Surely we have enough forwards to cope until Martin is back?? Isn't that where our strength is supposed to be. How about Mason Bennett? Maybe give him a go?

    Also injured, I believe.

    Can Kwarme play lone role?

Don't think we can recall Sammon
