    Possible to enjoy our situation?

Last year we rose unexpectedly quickly into the top eschelons of the league. Ultimately we looked set for the play-offs for the last 8 weeks or so.

This year we are right in the mix for auto at the same stage, and yet the general mood around town seems to be gloom

We've not that long ago had 5-6 years of insipid football, seasons being over by Feb, nowhere near as many goals to enjoy and falling attendances.

Lets relish this run in. To a neutral it must be a quality battle? 8 teams all with a realistic chance.

Were worried about other teams. Let them worry about us

Actually , enjoy it because as a Rams fan , this is probably as good as it gets.

If went up ...we wouldn't be challenging to win the league ..just survive and finish as high up as we can...and hopefully have a cup run..

No matter how nail biting ...enjoy what you have now...as I say...it's as good as it gets

I also believe that if we don't go up this season it will be so much harder next season with teams like Leicester QPR maybe Burnley Hull who knows but they will have big parachute payments to sign bigger players than us. So if we miss this chance this year I just think it will get harder each season..

Yep, I'm loving it after the boring slow passing game, which allowed opposition to easily get player behind the ball method, under nigel (and I was will it for nigel to succeed but he was too stubborn.

We're further up the league and when we up the tempo, we're awesome to watch but sorely miss Chris Martin.

Yes I watched a lot of derby under nigel but this year is my first season ticket in years (now I don't have to pay my ex and both lads are at university.

Looking forward to the run in and a new season ticket, irrespective of division.

Good post this Toggles and think we should enjoy the ride.

Many have thrown the towel in on the Norwich game when I think we'll have a real chance with them coming at us. Think Wolves could be harder.

Let's stick together and get behind the lads,

    Cheers for now

The other good thing is that if we carry on as we have in the last two games Newcastle won't want Steve so we can keep him for next year.

It's stressfull, because we've done so well to this point, it looks like losing our key players at this time could royally undo everything good.

I would rather be in this position then any position we've been in since Smith left, but its hard to not feel gloomy when you see things going tits up.

    No Thorne = worried
    No Martin = petrified
    No Bent = ****ed

I don't often feel like this about a certain player, but Grant is really ****ing me off at the moment, he's been **** poor for weeks now and it's costing us so many points!

Are you convinced things will go tits up? Not just a blip overcome on Sat or by beating those around us?
