    Public houses.

I glad all the pubs closing down.
Outdated refuges for lowlife alcoholics and nicotine stained ceilings.
I really happy this country has embraced continental bars.
A step in the right direction.

Personally love going to the pub/club . I love meeting people . Working away from home like i do ive met some good people. I never drink at home ,as paul heaton sang "im a social drinker. But social every night " well not every night long live the pub

Continental crappy poncey over priced pubs full of cockney shandy drinkers eh Tricky, that's your preference is it ?

Four quid-odd and more for a pint, that's despicable and it makes me thankful for chains like Weatherspoons. Go in there on a Tuesday and you get a really good steak meal deal with a pint

Nothing continental about it...its called decor and most places have no character & look just like the last one

Count me out...least we now know he hangs out in wine bars paying over the odd`s to look a so called modern man...which is the same as old man but a lot craftier just to pull

Its getting near summer now time when modern man comes back out in the garden an complains about smokers when they aint even seen the garden for the last 8 months

Did i mention wine bars fani ??...Erm no.
Anyway i refer to the old back street "Boozers" Where old men spend all day moaning about life getting drunk then go home to beat the mrs up.
I would turn them all into Tesco Express.
    Much prefer a Wetherspoons.

Which is in itself a glorified wine bar...no standing at the bar ...no entertainment ( accept the dick head wearing shoes with points on touching you from 10 ft away )

Plus they all look exactly the same... I tend not to beat the missus so much now days...must be the nicotine ceiling calming me down :-)

A continental bar is where you can sit outside enjoying the scenery and fresh air.
Much healthier that an old nicotine stained, urine smelling boozer
