    Celtics deal with new balance

much is the deal worth a year then. Do we know?

Seen on twitter two amounts and they were that the deal was worth £29 million over 5 years which would work out about £800k more a year that what we are getting off Nike.

The other was £29 million over 4 years which would be about £7.25 million a year. Which would be a further £2.25 million than what Nike were offering us. Which would be some deal the club have done.

Peter Lawwell is a hell of a Chief Executive. Possibly the best in the business.

Great that Celtic have a new kit with New Balance and kudos tae Peter Lawwell.

This is a brilliant deal for Celtic given the environment we currently play in.

I would think that the only people who will know work for Celtic and New Balance anything else is speculation but as Peter Lawell has said it is the biggest they have signed it means that their sponsorship deal is greater than the turnover of most if not all the other clubs in the top division.

Heard on the radio that it's 29M over 5 years which in fairness is a good deal.

If Celtic are able to get that from some sports gear mob relative minnows (don't think I've ever heard much of them tbh), then it goes to show just how pish poor the SFA/SPFL marketing and sales team have been in failing miserably to get decent sponsorship for the SPFL, in which Celtic plays!

Very few domestic sponsors would be willing to alienate a substantial percentage of their customer base.

Fair play to celtic on that to be honest. Also meant to get higher percentage of the money they would get from sales. That's what was meant to have cause Nike deal to no carry on

It's your natural "environment" and an "environment" that you more than almost anyone have helped to create.
