    Our game in hand

Either by luck or design our game in hand over Falkirk now happens to be the Rangers match on Tuesday.

At the time of the rescheduled Raith game Falkirk are in action away to Cowden so if we are to take advantage of the extra game Ibrox is the venue. A tough assignment especially after last nights result but I hope we go there looking to win the game.

Dave King's arrival may well be heralded by the Rangers support but the playing staff will be exactly the same as before so we have to fight for everything and try to win the game. Hopefully not an ultra cautious set up.

The arrival of King & Co at Rangers couldn't of happened at a worse time for Queens .

It's a massive boost for both the players & fans .

I suspect it will be tougher than it might have been given the recent goings-on.

However one of the few, maybe only, positives to take from QF defeat is that Falkirk will now have another midweek match to schedule due to their Hampden appearance whereas we will not have to add to the three we already have.

    re: Our game in hand

This season is turning into another one of underachievement. Last season we had agent McIntyre spending half the season messing it up.
This season, we've had more than our fair share of injuries, 2 of the squad leaving in January (one of whom was not replaced) Reilly getting injured then Lyle getting sent off in the last minute of the game before the most important of the season, the weather last night and now the timing of the Rangers boardroom change.
Whilst I agree that they will have the same players as before, the whole place will get a lift, especially because the fans will now be onside. And although they should be much better given the money they have spent, they are still 3rd. I also agree we shouldn't be too cautious there, but we will be, not least because we only have Reilly available to play up front. I think any argument that Russell or Paton could play there have been answered in recent games.
