I may be wrong but I think the Twiiter account that you're referring to is a 'parody'. Pretty sure that Steve himself is not on Twitter, unless your referring to comments made through the main CAFC Twiiter feed?

Bit miffed at SD`s comment`s on tw**er,saying the fans were not getting behind the Alex, where I was sitting in the main stand everyone was cheering them on,but until GL`s wonder strike I don`t think either set of supporter`s had anything to cheer about.
I said to 2 scout`s in front of me both side`s were crap, and hand on heart they agreed.
The only plus, was our pitch was better than the one they watched last week,Bradford`s.
Don`t understand SD`s comment about people asking for cheaper seat`s??????

I heard SD post post match comments with GrahamMG
and he did say it was a worry that the fans were not getting behind the team until we scored..
Didn't hear anything about cheaper tickets but 22 quid for third/fourth division standard matches is at least twice too much..imo of course. Would anyone paying for a spouse or someone else consider 50 quid including tea or pie to be reasonable? That is without the travel costs and why people who do that like Alex Leicester and others have my utmost admiration and respect.
Been coming over 52 years now with the last 32 travelling an average of 100 miles each game. If we didn't have season tickets we wouldn't be able to afford to come.
You must have done something terribly wrong to deserve a 52-year sentence without remission (apart from those wonderful years in the Championship).Originally Posted by jwar123

I've heard SD speak several times and found him measured and thoughtful, but that's been on a one-to-one level or via the wireless. It's a helluva job and I do not envy him.
Anybody who saw him at Wembley and has seen him at away games will have no doubts about his commitment to the fans.
