    Ciftci issued with complaint; two Fast Track References received
    Tuesday, 10 March 2015

    The following Fast Track Player References have been received and will be dealt with by a Tribunal on Thursday, 12th March 2015

    Player: Paul Paton (Dundee United)
    Match: Dundee United v Celtic (Scottish Cup) - Sunday, 8th March 2015
    Case: Claim of Mistaken Identity (Sending-off)

    Player: Virgil van Dijk (Celtic)
    Match: Dundee United v Celtic (Scottish Cup) - Sunday, 8th March 2015
    Case: Claim of Wrongful Dismissal (Violent Conduct)

    The Compliance Officer has issued the following Notice of Complaint:

    Alleged Party in Breach: Nadir Ciftci (Dundee United)
    Match: Dundee United v Celtic (Scottish Cup) - Sunday, 8th March 2015

    Disciplinary Rule(s) allegedly breached:

    Disciplinary Rule 200: In that at the above game you committed an act of Violent Conduct and deliberately kicked an opposing player, Scott Brown of Celtic FC, upon the head.

    Fixed Suspension offer: Yes – two matches

    Wonder what his defence is gonnae be ? Mind you, don't blame either him or the Arabs for going tae appeal after the last time they let the Psycho off the hook to do what he did on Sunday. Might take a serious injury to chase this thug out of Scotland.

    Anyone who said he did is a barefaced liar as telly pictures clearly show there was no stamp.

    That's a very poor quality video which shows very little, the BBC highlights video is better and the angle from the main stand clearly shows Van Dijk trying to untangle himself from Butcher and his feet are nowhere near the United player.

    Its as clear an angle you will get for the Van Dyke's stamp. 'Feet are nowhere near the United player'

    Theres no any point in even arguing the point with such a blinkered view as yours, My only concern would be that they might view the original challenge where Van Dijk catches Butchers shin pad, as worthy of upholding the red card as what went on afterwards was clearly handbags.
