That's a very poor quality video which shows very little, the BBC highlights video is better and the angle from the main stand clearly shows Van Dijk trying to untangle himself from Butcher and his feet are nowhere near the United player.

Theres no any point in even arguing the point with such a blinkered view as yours, My only concern would be that they might view the original challenge where Van Dijk catches Butchers shin pad, as worthy of upholding the red card as what went on afterwards was clearly handbags.
