Passed away after a long spell of Alzeimers.. A very good author and writer.,his imagination must have been out of this world after reading some of his books.R.I.P.

I've read quite a few of his books too. Definately a good imagination. Anch-Morepork was based on Lancaster and Morecambe, the Unseen University was inspired by the Lancaster Royal Grammer School, (where my son goes). Or so he told a friend of mine at the nerdy comic book shop in Lancaster anyway. He spent quite a bit of time here due to being mates with nerdy bloke that owned the nerdy comic shop.
