Why we CAN win at Norwich

Yes we may be a player or two down, though Thorne is supposed to be fit apparently, BUT we have excellent team spirit and generally can raise our game when required.

The players that are fit are more than capable of winning and Norwich will let us play, rather than try to close us down.

We are ALWAYS very high on spirit, but we need some steel and an iron girder which we sadly lack.

That was a good result, we don't have steel??? Albentosa could be the signing of the season!

I've heard he played well, was he really that good?

Just heard Keoghs interview, almost sounds like he's feeling sorry for himself, his confidence has gone and he's lost his head. I could be wide of the mark, but he doesn't fill me with confidence on the field or off at the moment.

We didn't have any steel; and certainly no iron girder. We rode our luck really. 2 superb saves from Grant and profligacy from Jerome.

    Albentosa doesn't / hasn't stood out as yet. He has good-enough games, but isn't a tower-crane.

You're all missing a crucial fact... He has a top knot !!! Surely all opposition strikers will be wetting themselves laughing and be unable to get a decent shot away?
This is the way forward I tell ya!

Mm for me that was a gritty backs to the wall performance, not pretty but we have played a lot better and lost! I thought Albentosa played very well and can only see him improving.

Our weakness was very apparent at Norwich.

Listening to Radio Norwich after the game and their version of the phone in and they didn't rate us and were frustrated they hadn't beaten us. They were right when they said we offered absolutely no threat up front and Norwich should have scored at least one more, possible two. Plus they literally handed us our goal. They all thought our central defensive partnership looked slow and vulnerable and they were disappointed that Norwich didn't exploit that.

    Thats exactly it tho Ramondo.

It was a good result because of a shockingly poor performance by us!

Doesnt matter how Swale want to try and dress it up we were very very very lucky and nothing really to do with any qualitites we had.

I've seen Crewe come to Derby and us have I think 46 shots mostly on target and them leave with a goalless draw ... im not sure I would have put that down to any particular strengths of theirs

I'm not dressing it up, we fought hard and got the rub of the green and earned a draw, not saying we played well. I've watched us completely dominate in the games against Brighton and Birmingham yet we got one pt.

As for the Norwich view, hmm what else would you expect them to say?
