    Sean Dyche

It's only the sun mind. But it says Dyche is top of Derbys hit list in the summer as Mclaren is Newcastle bound. Well if there is any truth in this I for one would be more than happy with SD. Can't see him leaving Burnley though especially if they stay up and we don't go up.

Really want SM to stay regardless of if we go up or not. If he leaves then would think Sean would be a great replacement - gets the best out of an "inexpensive" squad which would suit Derby and if things are going well then the board may well support him in a similar way to SM. Hope Burnley stay up, at the moment they are the only promoted team with a chance, in my opinion.

Certainly I'd say Burnely were on a par with Derby and have demonstrated that its not necessary to pay £20 million plus as Leicester and QPR have done to stand a chance of staying int he prem.

But IF Burnely stay up cant see Dyche coming here.

Lots of ifs and buts before you even start considering this. If derby go up, if Butnley come down, if McClaren goes to Newcastle, if swale becomes chairman of the women's institue.

But strip it back to basics ... Burnley would have to come down for him to realistically consider it and if that's the case why would we want a manager that can't do it on a budget as we would have in the PL?

It's a and no consideration to the realities of it as usual in the press!

I heard they turned his application down but he is appealing.

Because as you must recognise, its not necessarily just down to the manger if a team gets relegated, realistically Dyche has done very well on a very tight budget and seems to get average players to be able to believe in themselves.

Anyway pure paper speculation...oh and by the way I AM already chairperson of the WI!!!

No thanks I loathe the man and his present club. Can't think of many things stopping me support the Rams but this maybe one of them.

I'd also struggle not to vomit all over the place with his business speak bull****, smug gingerness and staid tactics

Yes it is press speculation, but McClaren to Newcastle is a story that doesn't want to go away. I personally wouldn't be keen on Dyche, but he is doing OK at Burnley.

One would question McClaren's judgement if he was opting for Newcastle. Derby County being a better club on so many fronts. If Steve's ego keeps getting the better of him, he will likely end up with egg on his face again.

A tad harsh there Toggles, the guys done wonders with Burnley on a limited budget, IMO he speaks less bull**** than most and his tactics suit the quality of the team he has to manage...so far anyway, IF Burnley stayup then surely you'd recognise that as an achievement?
