No not 6th place - although hope springs eternal. And we'll know exactly how possible it'll be with an extremely hard game at Carrow Road this Saturday. Only if we can survive, no, if we can pass that test, and some misfortune befalls Wolves, Ipswich and Brentford as well, then we can seriously consider the possibility of 6th place. With a 2 week break coming up to recharge our batteries and prepare.
Much easier typed and said than done.
Wolves play Derby, it's time they do 1 for us. Ipswich play Watford. Both have tough fixtures, but Brentford have a seemingly easier task with a home tie against Millwall. We can only hope for now. But 1st need to overcome a resurgent Canaries.
So this post is not about that, rather can we get more points than last season? Or even the season before that?
Can we reach 70 points? It look a fairytale when Dougie took over, we had what? 34 points I think, now we within touching distance of 60 points.
Let's give it a go and keep the mathematical possib

I wish I was.![]()
I hope we can do you a favour and beat wolves. I also hope you can do us one and beat Norwich. Derby v Forest play offs! Ohhh Can you imagine.![]()
I said after Leeds match we've got no chance and I stand by that. We settled for a point at Leeds with 10/15 mins to go and they were there for the taking. 6pt gap might have gave us a 20% chance. We need 6 wins from last 8 games and we have to go to Norwich, Brentford, Ipswich and Blackburn. Whilst hosting Wolves and Watford. I see 3 wins at the very best there.
norwich 0 - 1 forest ...burke to score...fingers crossed we're going to nick 6th spot and hammer derby at wembley.
Wolves have made it interesting, to say the least.
If you can get something at Norwich, your season is very much alive.
