I thought that with the exception of broadfoot, hunt, morgan and derbyshire, we were poor today. But I'd say apart from mcgugan they were even worse. Injury time was like a complete role reversal in terms of performance levels.
The manager will be in for some stick tonight no doubt. The only thing I'd say is that he got his subs wrong. I think privately he will admit that. Smallwood was nowhere to be seen all game and it was crying out for greens energy in that second half. And obviously bringing off a striker for a midfielder is always asking for trouble.
Also wilson would have been off at half time for me. Non-existent, didn't ever show for the ball and second half especially gave Jack no help in defending. The second goal came from him chickening out of a challenge when he could have lased it down the pitch. Where was hamill![]()
Anyway, we are down there and its tough. Nothing seems to go for us but we are better than Wigan. I believed that before kick off and I still believe
