Don't go anymore then...save your sanity...or
simply keep cheering the team on until it's mathematically impossible to stay up...keep believing it's not over yet not by a long way...it's football it's Rotherham United don't you just love it!
After witnessing that gutting, heart wrenching performance yesterday, I started to think about how its like ground-hog day watching RUFC this season.
-The Massive (we all witnessed that disaster).
-Forest (conceding 2 goals in 3mins).
-Cardiff (conceding 3 goals at home in 11mins).
-Watford (1-0 down, still in the game, then we concede 2 goals in 2mins).
-Derby (How on earth did Bent sneak into the near post and score the 3rd. I guess we dont need to mark ex-internationals)
-Blackburn (86min Rhodes winner, bad defending).
-Both Blackpool games (Collins missing the ball being the highlight).
-etc.
-etc.
-etc.
Sadly this list can continue, but its getting me depressed now![]()

None of the above.
I hate being this negative.
After all the above I still believe.
I think this was my madness creeping out after the Massive game.
I think its very watching all that hard work crumble.
I think Evans is the man to lead us forwards, never doubted his credibility.
I guess it doesnt matter which league where in we can all be sore losers at some time haha![]()
If you were to liken this to boxing we lack what they call "ring craft"
The ability to nullify your opponents strengths, to box opponents into corners, to get into a clinch to prevent the punch, to dance away when needed.
Our ring craft is poor, we still play like a terrier chasing a ball in the park.
In essence we are badly coached, we can run a lot but we are poor at freekicks (either ours or theirs) corners are predictable as are our throw ins. We have no tricks and we can't break up the play or slow it down to defend a lead.
Said it before if Evans and Raynor stay we need to employ at least one decent tactical coach.
You have hit the nail on the head we need an experienced tactical coach.
failure hasbeen about tactics wenhave a team that could be very comfortable in this league but they lack guidance. Please please mr evans think about tactics and start winning you have the players to do it, use them wisely.
Rotherham are a promoted side, and as such it was always going to be a big struggle to stay in this league. I've watched the Owls in this division for the last 3 seasons, a club which has had similar resources, so I knew it would be tough. I think that the Millers were better suited than Wednesday to this division when promoted, because the Owls were very one-dimensional, but Wednesday had a manager with a great deal of Championship experience in Dave Jones, and that was an advantage. Lots of Wednesday fans disliked Jones, basically because he wasn't Megson, but conveniently forgot that he got us up and kept us up. In many respects the Millers have been victims of their own success; coming up two divisions in two years is a great achievement, but then trying to adapt to life in the Championship is a major challenge, even for an experienced manager. Mandaric achieved his objectives by ruthlessly hiring and firing managers, but Stewart can't/won't do that, so that's not an option. I thin
Keep your bottle and get behind them, most sides give easy goals away during a long season. we have also won when we could have easily lost. Evans is doing his very best and does not like losing anymore than we do.
