    Shef Und Loose.

Watching SKY HQ when the score direct from Bramble Lane came through that Shef U had lost to Crewe. You could hear a lot of booing from the crowd. Seems familiar.

I was talking to a Blades fan the other day and he says it's been negative and boring since NC went there.Apart from the cups that is.

I came on here last week talking about Clough. Again today we played Crewe who had not won for 8 games and had lost the last 3 but Clough left our 2 strikers (30 goals between them) on the bench. We went 1 down but got back to 1-1, and almost immediately he took off our 3rd leading scorer (jose Baxter) and put on a defender. Then came the sucker punch, conceding in the last seconds.
We want him out now! Negative play, slow build up and no excitement. Some may say that he got us up the table last season and into 2 cup semis and now into a play-off position, but your fans will understand that we are sick of the tripe he serves up. 19,6000 again today and for the first time they turned on him. Time to go Nigel.

Yes we understand exactly were you are coming from mate. But I really do understand why Nigels tactics are so negative. He learned from the best so why he plays the tactics he does baffles me. I for one am so happy he is not at our club anymore. My Brother was a season ticket holder for 16 years at the BBG and PP. But he stopped going the season before nige got sacked as he said he couldn't stand watching the dross nige was serving up every week. He has a good eye for finding gems I think but his man management and tactics are nothing short of shocking.

Why is it you have to mention your crowd all the time so repetitive and boring wow 19600?? Big deal .

It's not a bad crowd for League 1 to be fair. How many on here have bragged about our own support being close on 30k?

I can't fault him for mentioning that crowd, 196000
They must have made some massive improvements to the ground since I last went there to get all those in

I suppose it boils down to why you go to football.

do you go to be entertained or do you go to see your team win? it is possible to do both but that lies with the philosophy of the manager.

Ollie's blackpool team were always entertaining in the prem but look at them now. they didn't win enough games.

NC's sides are pretty much always boring because of the shockingly negative tactics but on the whole the results aren't bad.

personally I go to be entertained and that's why i'll back mac to the hill. on the average Saturday I'd rather see a swashbuckling 3-3 than a boring 1 shot on target 1-0 win.

the thing with NC is that we were stuck with that type of football for so long we adjusted our expectations and went along with it. if mac got sacked tomorrow we couldn't possibly have a similar manager to NC now that we've remembered what real football is.

as for the bloke mentioning the attendance I think that's pertinent to the point he's making. a lot of loyal fans go to be entertain

Depends on the expectations, the squad capability and financial position of the club.

If the expectation this season is play off qualification, it looks achievable.
