    Out Of The Top Six

With Wolves and Brentford winning this afternoon we are out of the top six. It's going to be a nervous game tonight. Boro top. Blinking Bamford

    It's still in our hands.
With our form over the last couple of months, it's been the failings of other top 8 sides that have kept us in contention. Wasn't going to last forever.
Worry is that today, all the top sides have won and most are continuing good form.
Top two has gone barring a miracle.
Defeat tonight and we are relying on others failing again just to make the playoffs.
However if it's excitement your after, the end of this season could be better than last when playoffs were guaranteed but autos always remained out of reach.
Let's see if we can keep our nerve and find some form to take into the final games.
In a strange way, from where we now find ourselves, making playoffs this season will seem like an achievement as opposed to a disappointment last year.

Well yet again we ****ed up and threw away a game we should have won!

In the end the gulf in quality (and spending) of the other sides is telling and in this stronger league we are falling short.

I thought you said you weren't an advocate of spending big?

How have Bournemouth, Brentford, Middlesboro, etc outspent us?

Maybe it's that the manager has failed to improve us even tho our running costs have increased by £5m a year. Have you started to actually consider that as me of us pointed out a long time ago. The club has stopped moving forward and are now in decline!

Make your ****ing mind up, I thought you were saying that Clough was responsible for the increase???

Yes Boro's budget and expenditure on players is much higher than ours, Bournemouth have spent as much to - I was always of the opinion that we had an average team which mac has got playing above thier ability, thats been shown lately as we miss the key quality players which as a team make us better.

I never said Clough was responsible for the increase! That you making assumptions!

Ok give example of how Bournemouth have spent £5m plus more than us especially baring in mind that they sold their top scorer to Norwich I beleive!!!!

And show some examples of how middlesboro have spent more. You are probably looking at say £10m over an above what we have if you take into account this years additional expenditure.

You make it up as you go along Swale and have nothing to back it up.

The fact is the chief exec or what ever he is has throw caution to the wind and now the prudence is out the window and the manager has failed to come up with the goods in a poor league where no one has outspent or has a support squad.

Stop looking for excuses the blame lies at rush and Mcclarens door. They were happy enough to take any glory so they now must take the blame!
