    Cyrus Christie

Why does Mac keep picking him. Slow of thought, mistake ridden, absolute pants. AGAIN!!
We need to start looking at SM and asking these questions.
Drops Raul and leaves Christie in... Why?
I am sorry but okay we have had some injuries but SM has not helped with team selections...
More than Angry at the moment. Pants teams ahead of us... No FA cup...

Watford are full of pace which is domething Christie has (if nothing else)
Shotton could be played as a right back but don't think he will be much good going forward.

I wouldn't say pants teams ahead of us - Watford quality all over the squad, Middlesboro - spent plenty, Bournemouth quality players and have stayed free of injuries, Norwich prem quality players quadruple our budget, only Brentford could be said to be playing above their overall squad quality.

Christie is a good young player who has just lost his form and confidence and should not be picked, in the end though as in other games a series of individual errors have cost us.

I am beginning to think that a top 6 place may be beyond us.

GFor starters Bournemouth top striker is out and they have had a number of injury issues.

Watford is just your view not facts and they have had how Many managers!

Norwich like most relegated sides are not prem quality and very few go back up!

Have middlesboro spent more than us? Our running costs are up £5m and the likes of Ince and bent are going to be very costly let alone the improved contracts. You might find we've spent a lot more!

The manager has 18 months and not improve an already good squad! If he had we would be home and clear

Must admit, Cyrus didn't shine tonight.
Some say he's a good young player. I cannot really agree from what I've seen.
However he has had an international call up so someone with a better knowledge of football than me thinks so.

I personally think the defence has not been strengthened at all from last season given all the opportunity to do so. In fact it's gone backwards.
Shotton, Christie, Albentosa, Warnock - from what I've seen of them, shakey, shakey, shakey.

Shotton - Seen enough of Shotton to see why Stoke let him go. At school (many moons ago), I was taught to pass the ba

Its hardly worth responding to you - Watford said by many pundits to have the best strike force in the division - what the number of managers they have had has got to do with it is questionable.

Norwich not a prem league squad??? Eh have you seen the players they have? Their wage budget is 4 x ours and Boros is far more than ours, they have some expensive good quality loans.

    As for how much we

Christie pace? For me he doesn't even have that, the guys confidence has been shot for quite a few games now. I think it is time that we rested him.

Forsythe - better at defending than going forward, his distribution and crossing are woeful

Russell - last few games looks a shadow of the former player we saw early season

Thorne - what is happening here, why are we bringing players back who clearly are not ready?

    Frustrating times!

He really is off it at the moment, nothing like his start in a Rams shirt. Double error for the 1st goal last night, not surprised he was taken off.

Sadly, Hendrick looked far more solid defensively and far more effective going forward too.

Shotton on the right for Monday I think, Albert in the middle. Tempted to put Warnock in and drop Forsyth too.
