Did the old Roker Park on New Years day from Southampton by coach many years ago and it still ranks as one of my top away days. Went to this one last year (or was it the year before ) if you going take some binoculars, you'll need them from up there!.

Not really if you weigh up the time spent travelling and the extra quality time you'd get by taking a quicker route, it's a no brainer imo.

I'd always pay a premium to fly from Southampton airport rather than Gatwick/Heathrow for example.

I read some where that the club are charging 1p a mile. Nice reward for such a loyal following and great gesture by the club.
