    re: 4-1 again

He means that it is the seventh time in a row that Pompey Ladies (well done galls!) have lifted the Hampshire Senior Ladies Cup. This year we didn't have such an easy ride against them (one of our former players now plays for them, and, wouldn't you believe it scored their goal) as last year, but I will settle for 4 - 1.

The worrying thing was the previous week when we were 2 - 0 and 3 - 2 up against Charlton Ladies away and managed to lose 6 - 3, whilst only a draw against Coventry Copsewood and a 3 - 1 away win this week against the bottom club Keynsham Ladies ("spelt K E Y N S H A M", for those of us who listened to pirate radio donkeys years ago).

However, with Cardiff the top team also losing this means that we are second by one point with a game in hand, but there are teams breathing down our necks. So please support the Ladies vocally whenever you can, folks.
