    QOS v FALKIRK

It would be great to see a repeat of last night but it's hard to see how those players could reach those levels again so soon after such a high tempo performance.

However, with this group you never know !

I thought we would go into this game trailing Falkirk by at least 5 points and therefore a must win rather than being ahead of them.

As Peter Houston said on the radio last night it is now a " must win " for them.

I am sure we will go out to win the game but a draw would not be disastrous at this stage.

Let's hope as many as possible turn up on Sunday to support the team and show their appreciation for a great performance last night.

Don't hold your breath regarding extra fans flocking to Palmerston on Sunday. I honestly don't know what more the club or team can do to get more people through the gates . We're having another great season , beating some of the ' big teams , are playing superb football & have a fantastic set-up .

The atmosphere was brilliant last night ( well done the young team ) and yet again the players & management appreciated it .

Word last night was Falkirk won't bring as many as hoped as lots are concentrating on next weekends semi-final .

Hope I'm wrong but you'll be lucky if we break the 2,000 mark

As you say support from town for Queens really disappointing even last night.
Crowd just over 5000 and where I was loads of local rangers fans looking miserable as sin!
Sunday 2000 will be as much as can be hoped for.

hindsight I know but the club could have given free tickets to schools if the kids were accompanied by an adult. That may have got a few through the gates or get the council to pass a bye law stating every citizen in dumfries burgh must attend or get jailed for 30 days or get 30 lashes in front of the Portland road end when we play our l

Huge game and after a fantastic team performance it deserves a big crowd.
However it is also the 11th meeting of the teams in a mere 19 months.

presuming big Durnan is injured and we are sticking with 3-5-2 I would like to see this team on Sunday.

    Zander.
    Dowie, Higgins, Holt
    Kidd, McKenna, McShane, Russell
    Carmichael (free role)
    Lyle Reilly

Should Fowler decide to go back to 4-4-2 I would like to see Chris Mitchell given an opportunity as he has been an important player in the past for us.

    4-4-2?
    Clark
    Mitchell, Higgins, Dowie, Holt
Kidd, McKenna, McShane, Russell (or Danny)
    Lyle, Reilly

Its great to have such versatility in our team.
Obviously we are going for the win on Sunday, but I think if we avoid defeat we are practically in the play offs.

I dont buy Falkirk's defeatist dialogue from P&B site and I am sure James Fowler will be drumming this into Queens.

I am sure that the players dont need any further incentive but the thought of Messrs Baird and Kerr getting into the play offs ahead of us should be more than enough to keep our motivation levels very high.

Interestingly neither of them can play in the cup semi so all their eggs are in the Play off basket. Lets ensure that their defection and trouble making does not end well for them.

Hope th wind stays away as we pass the ball better than Falkirk and the better th conditions the more I fancy us.

This is far from a shoe in though and hopefully our tired legs will recover quickly.

Seven years on exactly datewise from that wonderful day on 12th April 2008 at Hampden so wouldn't it be marvellous if Queens can come up with a similar performance against the Bairns as they did that fantastic afternoon versus Aberdeen.

Yes indeed and it's a major part of the reason that I have been catching myself going into Keegan rant mode since they nicked that Quarter Final: I will REALLY LOVE IT, if we beat them to 4th spot.

guys our crowds wont improve much even if we were top of the spfl prem ,to attract the none attenders the prices would need to be reduced ,i was asking a few people if thay fancy going to the game on sunday the response i got was no chance there paying 16 quid to watch a football match ,with the wages players are on nowadays i cant see prices ever going down the way ,so crowds will keep dwindling away throughout scottish football until its back is broken ,only way i think prices can be reduced if we go down the german path ,german clubs make so much out of selling alcahol and other stuff inside the grounds thay can afford to keep the ticket prices low ,much lower than what we pay to watch scottish football .
