    Gary's checklist for next season

So it looks like we are stuck with Gary bowyer next season so what should he be looking to do in close/pre season?

1ffer new contracts to kilgallon, baptiste(out of contract with Bolton) and surprisingly Williamson has he had a bad game?quite a few average ones but no bad ones.
    2ay goodbye to old friends
Robinson is out of contract as is Dunn time to say goodbye to these fantastic servants to the club
King is also out of contract he is a bit of a luxury to have might be time for his exit as well
As for best get rid we do not want his kind at the club.
3:try to keep Rhodes and gestede(if possible)of course this is down to how much venkys are prepared to fund and on bids coming in
If one or both goes look for cheap but decent alternatives possibly waghorn and woods both good at this level and would be cheap.
    4:grow some nuts
Tactics by our Gary has sometimes been pretty negative and his use of substitutes has been sometimes used well but on the whole not used at the right time(none

Don't think I can disagree really with any of that, but the view that GB will be retained is not as yet set in stone (unless you are 'in the know').
I hate to bore folk to death, but I have to repeat, until Venkys come out and explain their plan from here on its all speculation.
I have heard that their promotion plan was 'by 2016' , that's fine and suggests they are still up for funding our existence.
But, do they, or any consultant type advisor, believe that it can be achieved by GB. This belief can be clouded by the possibility that we could have a weaker squad by next season. If he does stay, I think the support will dip noticeably.
For me, midfield still requires some added inventiveness in there, and moreso what of our strike force? RG I think will be gone. As for JR, if they are looking for 8/9m + he will still be with us (unless he forces a departure),
This would be to a fellow Champs competitor, as he is not up to Prem standard IMO.
For me the ready made candidates for capta

The problem is the buck always ends with the manager
Nobody can quite explain why a team stutters and falters under one manager then performs under another is it motivation?can't be bothered with current regime?lack of tactics under current manager changed for fresh ideas?
Truth is a team should be performing to their best under any manager sadly that isn't the case
Players get rid of managers through abject performances
While a manager struggles to get another job the under performing player carries on picking up thousands a week.

The thing is with GB is that the majority of fans have made their mind up regarding him and basically want him out. GB is now damned if he does or damned if he doesnt.Once the scales have tipped with the fans wanting shut of a manager theres not a lot the manager can do to get them back onside. IMO GB is at that point.

As for the the unbeaten run ..i do believe we ve been here before...

Im not spending another penny on rovers until we are genuine challengers at the top again, and I doubt that'll happen with bowyer in charge..
