    We've played some **** lately

But this has to be the worst of the lot. Only losing 1-0 so far is a miracle!

Even more of a miracle we drew.

We are far too predictable at the moment and leave big spaces in midfield by effectively playing 4-2-4. And our passing and crossing was appalling. We seem intent on passing to the opposition as well, especially in exposed positions.

I'm never convinced when Bryson & Hendrick start together; it should be either one or the other with Dawkins playing centre-mid whilst Hughes is out.

Not sure how bad our defenders were as they were exposed by our woeful midfield. It's also clear McClaren hasn't worked out how to play Martin & Bent to get the best out of both.

    1-1 is the biggest miracle!

I actually hope we do not go up now...this team will get thumped every week in the Premier League and it will be embarrassing all over again.

Otr with all due respects mate if you think this team would be the one that starts in the pl then your deluded, 99% of them would be sold and I think they know that

Brentford must be gutted, that's as bad as I've seen us at home for a long time.

Defence was woeful, we got overran in midfield and created nothing up front. Even the goal came from a shot that was going 20 yards wide.

I'd start with Whitbread, unlike the starting back 4 he looked like he could defend. 4-2-4 didn't work!

Its all about momentum at this time of the season and we have not got any. Last season I did not fear anyone in the play-offs but this season we have failed to beat Watford, Brentford, Wolves and Boro' over the last month.
A few months ago I never saw relegation form like this on the horizon and we were so far in front of the sides just outside the play-offs it never crossed my mind that we would not end up in the play-offs.

We have gone from top 2 probables to scraping around to even making the play-offs. Stevie Mac is very good in his after match interviews when we have won but after a defeat or a poor performance he does not inspire me. We will be lucky to make the play-offs but I do not see us getting to Wembley this season.

Top 2 IMO went a week ago. If Newcastle are interested in McLaren then I would be having second thoughts around about now.

I think we will struggle to make the play offs, but football is a funny game, we could struggle in and then romp through the payoffs.

As for this team in the prem, well just look at QPR, all the overpaid so called quality players don't mean a damn if you don't play as a team.

Do you really think that if by a miracle we go up via the play offs that McClaren will have sufficient time to change 99% of the team?

I don't think so, this will still be the nucleus of the squad next season and we will get destroyed.
